The eagerly awaited sequel Raid 2 has now been with us as we expected it to be and indeed it is, as it was released on the 21st of February , 2025. The first series of Raid was full of Action Drama, and we hope to see more of justice and persistent nail-biting scenarios in this sequel as well, which has a more developed storyline and lots of action as well.

Most fans of the first installment – Raid (2018) – look forward to the sequel as well as the date of its advance ticket sales which were record breaking. Raj Kumar Gupta who also directed the first Imperative threat has now directed the second, is now a master at evil unfolding. Gupta is one such maestro who masterfully controls the crisscrosses of a plot without letting its entertainment value go down a notch.
Producer
The film is brought to you by T-Series and producer Bhushan Kumar who doesn’t compromise on quality and distribution. And it is clear that Kumar has a good brand of compelling cinema in him in RT 2.

Trailer
January 2025 saw the trailer take the internet by storm. It utilized punchy and relevant dialogues along with some high tension scenes and a preview of the action packed confrontations, the trailer managed to build the expectation for the film. A few words were said in the tagline ‘Justice Has No Boundaries’ that mouthed the wider canvas of this sequel.
Plot
As Raid 2 continues the script of Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn) one more time, a fearless, and straight income tax officer who garnered a lot of public attention in the prior movie, this time, however, Amay has a difficult adversary in the form of a syndicate of politicians, industrialists, and international mafias.
As the film unfolds, there is a case that has been assigned to Amay which involves corruption of large scale. He searches and discovers layers of corruption that go far beyond Indian boundaries. For Amay however, as he faces hostility from both his superiors and the accused, it is only the means at hand that he will have to resort to, to get the actionable offenders in the case.

Conclusion
Raid 2 is proof of how proficient Bollywood filmmakers are when it comes to devising stories that relate well with the audiences on many levels. Owing to its terrific cast, riveting storyline, and wow-worthy cinematography, the film manages to live up to its previous sequel.
